Pay Attention To The Following Problems When Using Stainless Steel Tableware:

Jun 24, 2022

1. Vinegar and salt should not be filled. Salt and vinegar will destroy the passivation layer on the surface of stainless steel, dissolve chromium in it, and release toxic and carcinogenic metal compounds.

2. It is not suitable to decoct traditional Chinese medicine. Generally speaking, traditional Chinese medicine contains a variety of alkaloids, organic acids and other components. Under heating conditions, these components are prone to chemical reactions, which will make the drug ineffective, and even produce some more toxic complexes.

3. Strong alkaline substances should not be used for cleaning. Do not wash stainless steel tableware with strong alkaline or oxidizing chemicals such as baking soda, bleach, sodium hypochlorite, etc. Because these substances are strong electrolytes, they will react electrochemically with stainless steel.

4. Not suitable for empty burning. Because the thermal conductivity of stainless steel is lower than that of iron and aluminum products, and the heat conduction is relatively slow, air burning will cause the aging and falling off of the chrome coating on the surface of cookware.

5. It is not suitable to rub with steel ball or sandpaper. After using stainless steel tableware for a period of time, the surface will lose luster and form a layer of misty things. You can dip the dirt powder with a soft cloth and wipe it gently to restore its brightness as before. Never rub it with a steel ball or sandpaper to avoid scratching the stainless steel surface.
