1. Some ceramic tableware contains a small amount of lead, cadmium or other heavy metals, which is harmful to human health. Therefore, you should carefully check the instructions for the newly bought ceramic tableware. If the tableware purchased is not marked with lead-free and cadmium free, it is necessary to soak and boil the newly purchased tableware with 4% vinegar water.
2. It is best to boil the newly bought ceramic tableware in salt water for a while, so that it is not easy to crack when used, and its service life can be extended.
3. When cleaning ceramic tableware, first use hot water or add a little detergent to dissolve the greasy tableware, then wipe the greasy surface of the tableware with a cleaning cloth, then rinse it with cold water, and then wipe the tableware with a clean dry cloth. Only in this way can the washed ceramic tableware leave no traces of water and be clean as people. Finally, the tableware is buckled on the bowl rack or placed in the disinfection cabinet.
4. When using high-grade ceramic tableware, it should be used according to the product instructions. Generally, it should avoid repeated cooking under high temperature to prevent product cracks caused by the thermal stability of the product. If the tableware is decorated with gold flowers and gold thread, it should not be put into the microwave oven.
Rumor: tableware can be disinfected by scalding with boiling water
Truth: many people are used to scalding dishes and chopsticks with boiling water before dinner. But this is just "psychological comfort". Scalding tableware with boiling water, due to insufficient heating temperature and time, often can not guarantee to kill most pathogenic microorganisms, and its role is at most to wash down floating dust.
